We are proud to introduce a new feature, the Psychology Trends Debates, vigorous debates between therapists, rinsed of professional and academic jargon, about some of the controversial, but seldom talked about, issues in mental health and psychotherapy. Join in as therapists, legal experts, and health seekers debate the current controversies, issues and trends in the field, hosted by Garry Cooper, LCSW and Dr. John Riolo, and featuring invited guests. If you have a topic or would like to participate, just drop us an email at deborah@psychjourney.com
The Rules:
Deborah Harper, the president of Psychjourney will introduce a topic. Each debater will respond with an essay that includes his or her position on the issue. We encourage informal everyday language and vigorous back and forth. Each debater also has the option of a short rebuttal to the other. Some issues may be debated in audio format and recorded. We invite all visitors and readers to jump in and submit their comments as well. If you would like to record your rebuttal by phone please call (214) 615-6044 ext 8460. Long distance charges may apply. If you would like to include a short bio, link to your website, and photo with your recording please send the information in an email at deborah@psychjourney.com
